Obstacle Gem Sequence Cracked

Tuesday night, famed code breaker Mathematician Minion discovered the fact that removing obstacles does not give a random amount of gems. Not including gem boxes, removing obstacles gives the following sequence of gems: 6, 0, 4, 5, 1, 3, 2, 0, 0, 5, 1, 0, 3, 4, 0, 0, 5, 0, 1, 0.
Mr. Minion claims this is just one of many great mathematical discoveries he has made. His complete works can be found in his new book, Math of Clans. The book offers an great outlook on everything from loot penalty to turret statistics to gem prices.

R.I.P. Goblin Williams

On August 11th 2014, a tombstone was laid in Clash of Clans. But this tombstone will not be traded for a measly 20 elixir. It will sit in our hearts forever.
Goblin Williams, actor, comedian, film writer, and ankle model, died just 8 days ago. The world responded by placing gem boxes around his house and sending thousands of hopeful heal spells his way. Even the best witches couldn't summon back such a great man.
We remember the great things Williams did in his life such as play major roles in The Barbcage,
Mrs. Doubt Tower, The World according to Giant, Night at the Clan Castle, The Farmer King, and Good Morning, Town Hall.
He truly was a great man. Goblin. Troop. Whatever.

What's the Meaning #1: Clans

One of the most import aspects of Clash of Clans are clans themselves. But what is a clan and how historically accurate are clans in the game?
   Clans
The word clan is derived from the Gaelic word clanna, meaning children. A clan is a kinship group among people. The clans in Clash of Clans are based on Scottish or Finnish type clans (Supercell itself is based in Finland). We can see many similarities between the game clans and real life.
   Clan Leaders
Players of Clash of Clans are referred to by the game as "Chief". However, in Scottish clans the clan chief is the leader of the clan.
The clan co-leaders are somewhat akin to the Scottish clans' nobility or fine as they have more power than normal clan members.
   Clan Identity
In Clash of Clans, clans can be easily identified by their names and symbols. Most Scottish clans have names that are now recognizable first or last names common today. For example, Keith, Leslie, Scott, Mackenzie, Campbell, Gordon, or even Clan Ranald Macdonald (now a very popular fast food mascot).
Clan crest badges are not historically accurate, being romanticized in the Victorian era, but are somewhat close to the symbols that represent in-game clans. These crest badges do not actually represent a clan, but the leader of the clan.
A better analogy would be clan badges, also known as plant badges. These consist of a piece of a plant, particular to each clan, for example, a holly leaf.
According to Scottish lore, badges were used to identify members of the clan during battles. Clan badges are commonly referred to as the original clan symbol, however some scholars claim that the clan chiefs' heraldic flags are the earliest way of clan identification.
   Battles
Scottish clans frequently fought among each other and clan members were forced to pay rents known as calps to fund these wars somewhat like troop donating in clash of clans.

Clash of Clans' 2nd Birthday

This week Clash of Clans is celebrating it's second anniversary by allowing all resource collectors to be boosted for a whole week for only 1 gem apiece.
This change will have a huge effect on the farming community and raiding in general by virtually doubling the loot available in Clash of Clans. Right now is a great time to raid frequently and save up for large upgrades.
If all of your collectors are fully upgraded at town hall level 10, you could earn an extra 3.6 million gold and elixir, and 50,000 dark elixir, saving you almost 3,000 gems. Now that's a nice birthday present.
